Simon Zamuda is the youngest member of the team, but he has been passionate about mechanical engineering since childhood. The main culprit for this is Simon’s role model – his father. With the help of his father, he started modelling airplanes at the age of eight, which they both continue to do to this day. They impressed the general public with their models, both at airports and in showrooms. Simon isn’t just a fan of model aircraft, he’s just taking a glider pilot exam. Together with his father, he also built his own 3D printer at home, with which he prints many prototypes, which he draws together using various hardware programs. Despite his youth, Simon is already an experienced team member in many school projects - they won the title of national champions in the Knowledge Competition, where they created an innovative moped trailer. With his knowledge and advice, he helped create the formula that competed at the World Championship in Singapore. This school year, they built a hydrogen-powered car and formulated the rules for the first high school competition with such cars. All of this shows that Simon is an engineer with all his heart.
