Marko Novak holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maribor and a Master's Degree in Economics from the University of Ljubljana. With more than 25 years of experience in the
technical sector, Marko has established himself in the field of high-tech projects and financial consulting. His career is marked by significant contributions to various industries, demonstrating a unique ability to combine engineering and economics. Marko began his professional career as a mechanical engineer but quickly
transitioned to the financial sector, where he found his niche in evaluating investment and technological projects. During his 12 years in banking, he specialized in credit risk assessment and became one of the few engineers to excel in this field. In this period, he evaluated over 500 different projects, including real estate, and led the Insurance
Working Group at the Association of Banks in Slovenia. His expertise in real estate valuation contributed to the implementation of several systemic changes that improved the assessment process within the banking sector.
In 2003, Marko transitioned to consultancy, focusing on high-tech projects and obtaining EU funds. As a consultant for Dewesoft d.o.o., a leading Slovenian technological company, he advised on strategic planning and project implementation. Marko also played a significant role in the negotiations for Slovenia's membership in the European Space Agency (ESA), which led to Slovenia's successful membership in ESA.

In addition to his technical and financial expertise, Marko is also active in the real estate sector. Since his early twenties, he has invested in real estate and provided consulting in property valuation and energy-efficient renovations. As the director of Sončni blok d.o.o., he managed residential properties, enhancing their value and
tenant satisfaction. In the field of technology, he has written over 100 technological projects and evaluated more than 500, providing invaluable insights into the feasibility and potential of various innovations. He has also been a
lecturer at the Construction Institute of Slovenia, where he educated energy auditors on the financial aspects of energy-efficient improvements. As the President of FIABCI Slovenia, the Slovenian chapter of the International Real Estate Federation, Marko has played a significant role in promoting practices for energy and water conservation in the
real estate sector. His leadership in this role underscores his commitment to integrating technical excellence with economic sustainability. Marko Novak's career is diverse and rich with achievements that demonstrate his dedication to innovation, strategic thinking, and practical implementation. His ability to navigate both the technical and financial aspects of various investment projects in the high-tech and real estate sectors is commendable. Through his work, he continues to promote advanced solutions that bridge engineering and economics,
contributing to national and international advancements in technology and sustainability.
