SOMETHING ABOUT ME

Luka Vrtič started his project in the fourth year at ŠC Ptuj, Mechanical School, and continued it at the faculty. With its approach to solving environmental problems, it finds a reuse for Mars, reducing the need for new production. This project serves as the next step in his efforts to teach others how to reduce energy consumption by taking smaller steps. Throughout his secondary education, he achieved the highest accolades at national competitions and was selected as the best student of the Municipality of Ptuj 2023. At the school, he introduced projects of the European Space Agency and provided mentoring to younger students. He finished his high school career as the leader of the Lightfly team, with which they represented Slovenia in the F1 in schools competition in Singapore. Although he no longer attends the Mechanical Engineering School in Ptuj, he still promotes it in its best light. In his free time, he runs, which serves him as a meditative process for optimizing ideas.
