Aleksander Verač is a professor of English and German at ŠC Ptuj, Mechanical Engineering School. For many years he has been involved in the Erasmus+ project, through which students gain valuable work experience abroad. At the Ptuj School of Mechanical Engineering, he established the international and highly acclaimed project Ambassadors of the European Parliament (EPAS), where students learn about European content, participate in debates with MEPs, transfer European content to their peers and prepare events. In 2022, he and his students attended the EUROSCOLA event in Strasbourg, which was the award for the best info point prepared in 2021. He has been teaching in education since 2015, where he started his career in primary school and then continued in grammar school, while he was still active at the People’s University, where he taught adults. With his professional knowledge of foreign languages, he actively and enthusiastically assists students - young engineers from Ptuj - in all their international projects.
